Spectrobes: Into the Shadows

"Ah shuddup. Once these guys get strong enough, I'm gonna kick your-" He was cut off by a beep coming from the upper deck.

"Yeah right" Drayk said. "Maybe we should go check and see what that was"he said.

"Yep." Jakon picked up his Spiko and entered the elevator, heading up. He ran up to the main cockpit to see what was up.

Drayk picked up Zoza and followed Jakon. Racing to cockpit.

Jakon got up to the cockpit and slid into the pilot's seat, pulling up what seemed to be a transmission.

Drayk stood behind Jakon. He wondered what the was about.

The transmission was choppy. The only words Drayk could get out of it were 'Minerals' 'large deposit' 'nearby' and 'go.' "Hm. I think that was from HQ. But I think the radiation belt near here scrambled the message. But hey, there's minerals nearby apparently. Let's go dig 'em up."

Drayk nodded only understanding what was needed. He went out to look for the minerals

"Leggooooo Spiko." Jakon started walking out and Spiko looked around for Minerals.

Drayk was walking around and had Zoza scanning the ground for minerals. "Ugh, how long will this take"he mumbled while searching.

"Not too long!" Jakon cheered, as Spiko found a huge patch of minerals.

Drayk rushed over. "Awesome" he said staring in awe. "This must've been what that transmission was about"he said.

"Yep! Let's start excavating." Jakon started drilling Minerals out of the ground. "Ho. Ly. Crap." He picked up the first Mineral he excavated. A DIAMOND.

"Oh My God" Drayk gasped and started mining as well. "This is amazing"he said looking at everything.

Jakon picked up a lot of Minerals and stuff. "Okay, I think we've got enough. We should leave the rest here in case we need Minerals later."

"Yeah that is a good idea" replied Drake. Drake grabed some and walked back to,the ship.

"Alright." He fed Spiko 3 Minerals. Then a flash of light and a sequence of energy patterns happened and Spiko evolved, becoming a Spikan. "Woohoo! Mwahaha, I'm the first one with an Adult Spectrobe. That means I can fight."

Drayk started to feed Zoza. After a few of them Zoza started to evolve.

"A Zozane? Sweet. Now we've got to go find that disturbance that the Commander was talking about."

DRayk nodded and led the way in the search.

Jakon looked around, keeping the image of where the distress signal came from that he had gotten from the Commander up to compareto the areas around.

Drayk continued to search. "Just what are we looking for again?"he asked.
